Investing in the Future: BANKING ON MAGNETS

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is thrilled to host the 2009 Magnet Schools of America 27th Annual Conference.  Magnet schools have had a significant impact on the success of our school district since 1992.  As district members of MSA since 1999, we have been able to broaden our contact base, share our experiences and stay on the forefront of educational innovations.  Currently we support 15 magnet programs at 50 schools across Mecklenburg County.  We hope you will join us in April 2009 to see the variety of magnet programs we offer with continued strong student achievement and enrollment.

Not only will you have an opportunity to collaborate with other professionals from around the nation, you get to do it in one of the most dynamic and beautiful cities in the south.  Charlotte, the Queen City of the South, offers all the luxuries of a big city with southern charm.  You can dine, dance, shop or visit one of our cultural centers.  Consider this your personal invitation to join us in Charlotte for MSA 2009!
